TRADES PANEL
Last night Minnetonka High School had a great turn out for their
Personalized Pathways: Trades Panel for Students & Families! This is the second panel MHS has offered to students in the past year.
Principal Jeff Erickson stated in an email that went out earlier this month, “Minnetonka is a comprehensive high school that strives to prepare students for their pathway of choice after graduation. We’re excited to invite students and families to the November 14th Trades Panel discussion designed to build awareness and support for students interested in training and a career in the trades.”

Panelists included:
- Post-Secondary Institutions
- Business Leaders from the Trades
- Recent MHS Graduates
- MHS Counseling Staff
3 former Minnetonka Graduates, who are now working in the trades industry, sat on the panel and offered wisdom and insight to current students. One graduate shared how it is important to "follow your own compass." Another stated that "only YOU can define what your success looks like after school."
Minnetonka High School Leadership will host a student panel in the winter and continue to evolve this great work.
